Anointing to Save The Nation of Israel From Famine
"But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him steadfast love and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison."
Genesis 39:21 (ESV)
Joseph was having a good life being favored by his father because of being the youngest son until he was betrayed by his brothers and sold into slavery. His world was crumbling before him and making matters worse, he was seduced by Potiphar's wife and brought to jail in suspicion of raping her. In the end however, God made Joseph second in command in Egypt because of his ability to interpret the Pharaoh's dreams. We should know that God has a plan for all of us like He had a plan for Joseph to further His kingdom.
