FOCIM Quezon City takes part in Feeding Program

As the on-going pandemic continue to bring economic struggle causing majority of our beloved brothers and sisters to lose jobs and experience difficulty feeding their families, FOCIM as a lampstand to our nation must find ways to extend a helping hand to fellow Filipinos in need. Accordingly, the Lord presented FOCIM Quezon City with such an opportunity to be a blessing to its community. Under the leadership of Bro. Rey Borile, FOCIM QC took part in a series of Feeding programs in partnership with the AFP (Armed Forces of the Philippines) and OBMA (Old Balara Ministry Association). The Feeding Program took place in Blocks 5 and 6 Barangay Kaingin Pansol and was done on three separate dates (April 16, May 4 and June 11). The FOCIM QC volunteers served “lugaw” to more than 1,000 people residing in Barangay Kaingin. In addition to ensuring that people were fed, our fellow FOCIM QC brothers and sisters did not let the opportunity go without sharing the Word of God thereby ensuring that the recipients were spiritually fulfilled. Bro. Rey even shared that because people felt extremely blessed, there were some who decided to join a FOCIM QC home church and looked forward to the completion of our new Sanctuary so that they can join the Worship Service. Aside from Bro. Rey, other FOCIM QC members who volunteered in the said Feeding program were as follows:

.) Bro. Mark Nicer

.) Bro. Cesar Pacquiao

.) Bro. Jay Borile

.) Bro. Emanuel Velasco

.) Sis. Analyn Borile

.) Sis. Gena Borile

.) Sis. Malou Yuro

.) Sis. Melanie Velaco

.) Sis. Dang Libantino

.) Sis. Wilma Felix

.) Sis. Clara Osio

.) Sis. Mary Jane Guiceres

It was indeed a fruitful and spiritually uplifting three days of Feeding program activity done by our FOCIM QC brothers and sisters. We now look forward to more opportunities from the Lord to allow us to share our blessings and further become a lampstand to the community and our nation even beyond the day we overcome this on-going pandemic. We continue to praise the Lord for such opportunities.
